Papers will range over 3 and a half days (Thursday – Sunday lunchtime), with pre-conference activities on Wednesday and a post-conference excursion on Sunday afternoon.

Printing workshop with the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication (limited numbers)

Thursday evening:

Hogarth Press 100th birthday party at Special Collections, Museum of English Rural Life, 6-8pm. Speeches @6.45.

Friday evening: 7.30-8.30 pm, Palmer G10

Evening music concert, Michiko Theurer, ‘Circling the Waves’. UK premiere.

Saturday: conference banquet

Sunday afternoon: Excursion to Chawton House Library & Gardens, Alton, Hampshire. Centre for the study of early women’s writing, home of Jane Austen’s brother, Edward. Return to campus 5.30pm
